Five Minute Chewy Edge Brownie
Midnight Chocolate Brownie Because Sharing Is Overrated
Can’t Sleep? Craving Chocolate? This quick brownie is your late night partner in crime. Five minutes simple one bowl mix, 25-30 minutes baking, and you’ve got chewy edges, gooey center and zero regrets. Perfect for one or two if you’re feeling like sharing. (But honestly, why share?)
Recipe:
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
2 Tablespoons butter- melted
1 Tablespoon powdered unsweetened cocoa
1/4 Cup sugar
2 Tablespoons slightly beaten egg-save the remainder for your morning scramble or as a perfect treat for your pup.
Pinch salt
1 Tablespoon of flour
Generous 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/4+ Cup chopped nuts-optional-Yes, I like a lot of nuts. Nuts may decrease baking time.
No need for a mixer.
Butter or oil a five inch ramekin or similar baking dish.
In a medium mixing bowl add melted butter- or simply melt butter in this bowl in your microwave.
Add cocoa and sugar mix well.
Whip in the egg quickly to avoid cooking it in the mix.
Add salt and flour. Mix.
Add vanilla. Mix.
Add nuts if using. Fold.
Scrape mixture into prepared baking dish and bake 25-30 minutes. Check at 20 minutes if your oven typically bakes faster.
Enjoy!
