Bake Bread

In An Hour

With the right tools this whips up so fast you’ll be making bread every week. Yes, it’s really true … in less than an hour. The texture of the bread is perfect. And taste?! Slightly sweet with the moistness you want in a bread. There are no disappointments here. You’ll need a bread pot and the Emile Henry product doesn’t disappoint. I actually used my electric mixer with a bread hook … Something I almost never do when making bread. With this recipe I believe you can’t go without it for the best and easiest results.

Let’s get started with this easy bread recipe with the help of the Emile Henry people.

Recipe

Preheat the oven with the bottom of your bread pot to 400 degrees F.

1 3/4 Cup warm water
1/3 Cup olive oil
3 Tablespoons of honey
2 Teaspoons salt
1 Tablespoon wheat gluten
4 Cups best bread flour-a pinch more if dough is too sticky and you’ll need a little for hands and pot
2 Tablespoons instant yeast

In the bowl of your electric mixer equipped with a bread hook place the water, oil, honey, salt and gluten. Mix on low for about one minute.

Add about half the flour to the mix and moisten the ingredient on low-medium for about one minute. Then add another cup of flour and mix for another minute.

Add the remaining flour and mix for about 6 minutes on medium. The dough will be elastic and a bit sticky.

Flour your hands and form the dough into a ball.

Remove the preheated pot bottom from the oven and sprinkle with a little flour then add the ball of dough, cover and return to the oven.

Bake 35-45 minutes depending if your oven is slow or fast baking.

Remove lid in last 5 minutes for a browner top.

That’s it!

Enjoy!!
