Malted Milk Hot Chocolate

Why fuss over Hot Chocolate! Because it makes a difference in taste. Milk chocolate or dark, milk or water, whipped cream or marshmallow … these all count. As a kid my hot chocolate had to be mild, sweet but not too sweet, and rich not watery. This hits it all. So, when I want to feel like a kid again I make this delicious drink.

Recipe

For each 8 ounces of milk:

2-3 Tablespoons of grated bittersweet Guittard Chocolate See process here.
1 Tablespoon malted milk powder
1-2 Tablespoons of whipped heavy whipping cream
Garnish with 3-4 Whoppers Malt Balls slightly crushed

Heat the milk to simmer but not boiling. HOT!

Stir in chocolate and malted powder until dissolved.

Garnish as desired.
